Community-Engaged Alliance Online Privacy
Purpose: To describe the information collection, usage, and sharing of Community-Engaged Alliance (“we”, “our”, “us”) through our digital properties (“properties”), including mobile applications that link to this policy and our website.
Policy: Your privacy is critical to us, this policy will inform you how Community-Engaged Alliance collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use www.communityengagedalliance.org or any mobile application that links to our website or this policy. This policy applies to any information collected via our website or via mobile applications.

- Information you voluntarily provide to us such as your name, email, address, phone number, and other contact information.
- When you use our properties to make a purchase, we may collect additional contact information, payment information, payment history, and profile and preference information. Our third-party payment links are subject to

- When using our properties, we may also collect information such as, but not limited to, your browser type, browser history, device type, and time and date of visit.

Indiana Campus Compact uses third-party analytic tools to track visitor traffic patterns. We may use this information to administer our website and analyze overall web traffic trends. Analytic tools collect information in a non-identifiable manner so it cannot be reasonably used to identify a particular individual user. Analytic tools collected information your device sends such as websites visited and other information that assists us in improving your experience.
We may sometimes work with third-party online advertisers who may collect and use the information your device sends about your web browsing history to produce relevant ads for you. This type of advertising is known as interest-based advertising. We may also work with ad networks and other companies to advertise on our behalf.
Information Sharing: We will not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise transfer your information to outside parties without your permission. The term “outside parties” does not include webhosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting business, and serving you. Your information may be released to such partners with an agreement of confidentiality.
Security: Indiana Campus Compact uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to protect against the loss, misuse, and unauthorized alteration of the information it collects and maintains, both online and offline. All information is stored in a secure database. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although Indiana Campus Compact does our best to protect your PII, the security of your personal or sensitive information transmitted to us is not guaranteed. Any transmission of PII or sensitive information is at your own risk. Indiana Campus Compact will not be responsible for disclosure of information due to errors in transmission or circumvention of any privacy settings or security
measures Indiana Campus Compact put in place for your protection.
Information Usage: We use the information collected for purposes including, but not limited to:
- Fulfill orders and purchases or respond to inquiries by you
- Improve and customize the content of our properties
- Compliance with the law and maintaining the security of our properties
- For our research, recordkeeping, and reporting needs
- Organizational benchmarking data
- Notifying visitors about organizational opportunities and/or updates, including marketing communications (may include third-party marketing)
Access and Control of Information: You may choose not to provide personal information; however, we only ask for as much personal information as needed to complete the interaction you are requesting. As such, if you choose not to provide personal information it is possible that you may not be able to participate in the interaction.
You may opt out of future contact from us at any time; you can do so by contacting us using the contact form found on our website or using the unsubscribe button located at the bottom of our newsletter email. Please note, due to production schedules, you may still receive emails already in production.
Unsubscribing from marketing communications does not include non-marketing communications. You may still receive information related to your institutions partnership, partnership renewal, liaison appointments, and other items that are a condition of the partnership with Indiana Campus Compact.
Third-Party Links: We may include third-party links on our website and in our newsletters. These links are independent of Indiana Campus Compact and may have their own privacy policies. Indiana Campus Compact is not responsible for any information collected, used, or shared as a result of visiting a third-party link.
