New faces on board at Indiana Campus Compact

This November, Indiana Campus Compact welcomes two new members to their team of nonprofit professionals – Emily Gralak and Jackie Plata. The new additions will further enable the organization’s mission to improve community service engagement and prepare college students to advance the public good.

Emily Gralak

Indiana Campus Compact is excited to welcome Emily as the communications and marketing specialist. She is responsible for the organization’s website, branding, external communications, and media engagement. Previously, she worked as a public relations intern for Newfields, Indiana’s premier art museum.

Emily graduated summa cum laude from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science in public relations. She was also a student of the Ball State Honors College for which she completed her undergraduate thesis on the use of social issues in advertising campaigns. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering with the animals at the Humane Society for Hamilton County.

Jackie Plata

Indiana Campus Compact is excited to welcome Jackie as the office and grant assistant. In her role, she supports the team by coordinating event logistics, handling sub-grants, and ensuring all work is running smoothly. She’s a multi-task guru!

Jackie graduated from IUPUI Kelley School of Business with a Bachelor of Science in business management and human resources management. She comes from a diverse background of supporting high-functioning teams in real estate and insurance. You can spot her at a dog park with her mini Aussie Beni, at a local brewery, or traveling in her free time.
