Learning Community Grant

Supports institutions in designing and implementing a combination of professional development workshops and learning communities aimed at better preparing faculty and staff to implement high-quality community engagement practices.

Programs that connect faculty and staff across disciplines and infuse curricular and co-curricular experiences are encouraged.

Timeline

Proposals are accepted on the 3rd Monday of each month. The next funding deadlines are:

  • Monday, May 22, 2023
  • Monday, July 17, 2023
  • Monday, September 18, 2023
  • Monday, November 20, 2023
  • Monday, March 18, 2024
  • Monday, May 20, 2024
  • Monday, July 15, 2024

Projects may begin as soon as 7 weeks after the proposal deadline.

The PIs determine project timelines, which are typically between 6 and 9 months.
