In addition to our own signature events, trainings, and networking opportunities, we strive to bring our partners the resources, contacts, training, and information from across the country that they need to fulfill their commitment to their students and the community.
Hosted by the University of Nicosia, University of Indianapolis and Stellenbosch University, ISSL 2022 is scheduled to take place in person at the University of Nicosia in Cyprus on June 8th-11th, 2022. With the theme “Critical Service-Learning Across the Globe: Transforming Teaching into Social Action,” the symposium will primarily focus on transitions in higher education and the role that critical service-learning plays in social transformation. Conference registration is open until May 27, 2022.
Indiana Town Halls –in partnership with WFYI Public Television --will broadcast and stream a Town Hall Conversation about the 2022 House Priorities and Divisiveness in Congress on Tuesday, February 22 at 7 pm. This is the latest in the series of nonpartisan civic engagement events that will feature 7th District Representative Andre Carson. Carson will answer questions posed by a cross-section of 15 constituents.
