A few weeks ago, we had a wonderful time in Columbus, IN facilitating a workshop on service-learning and project-based learning! With the support of the Heritage Fund, faculty and staff from Ivy Tech Community College Columbus and Columbus Signature Academy Middle and High School came together to learn, grow relationships, and strengthen the educational opportunities for students within the Columbus, IN community.

We are grateful to the Heritage Fund for supporting this professional development and networking event. There is a unique ecosystem of educators in Columbus, from elementary to postsecondary schools, that believe in the value and importance of bringing education and community together in their instruction. The commitment to community and effective education from Columbus Signature Academy facilitators and Ivy Tech Columbus faculty and staff is unmatched and it is our honor to support their work.
